Guidelines for submission of abstracts/papers

« Back

Your abstract should not exceed 800 words. Please write your name, affiliation and e-mail address in top of the abstract.

When submitting your abstract you will be required to state your EGOS member number and password.
If you have forgotten these data, please mail Angelika Zierer-Kuhnle at egos@wzb.eu.

If you are not a member of EGOS you start by selecting 'Sub-themes' in the left menu, and in the top of the page you see the line
'If you are not a member of EGOS you can register here'.
After having completed your registration you have a (preliminary) EGOS member number and a password – and can now proceed:

Find the sub-theme to which you wish to submit your abstract. Select 'Submit abstract' and you get this picture:

State your number and password and select 'Login'. Now you get this picture:

Notice: To ensure that everybody can download and read your abstract please submit in rtf, doc or pdf format.

Select 'Browse' and find the file which you wish to submit and then select 'Send file'.

After having submitted your abstract you will receive confirmation by e-mail. It is only possible to submit one abstract to one group.

--- Important! ---

  • Please remember the number and password you used to submit your abstract as you will be needing these data when subsequently submitting your paper.

  • An author can submit only ONE abstract/paper by using his/her ID (= member number and password). This means that you cannot submit an abstract to another sub-theme by using this ID.

  • Co-authored abstract: Only one (i.e. the 'main') author has to submit it – by using his/her ID.
For subsequent paper submission you have to login with this, i.e. the main author's ID.

Submission of full paper

Submit under the theme into which your abstract has been accepted. You will be asked to state your member number and password which you used when submitting your abstract.
If you have forgotten your number, please mail Angelika Zierer-Kuhnle at egos@wzb.eu.
