It is with great regret that we have to inform you of the death of Eduardo Ibarra Colado.

As a founder of LAEMOS and organizer of APROS Eduardo Ibarra Colado played a vital role in connecting European, Asian Pacific and Latin American scholarship. His comprehensive and critical reflections on the role of universities, the challenges of globalization and the future of organization studies provided a source of inspiration to many researchers. Perhaps, more importantly, his integrity and human qualities were widely acknowledged within the international community.
