Edinburgh Airport is an award-winning airport and Scotland’s busiest, serving 130 worldwide destinations with 53 direct flights to London per day. There are frequent direct flights from main international hubs to Amsterdam, Dublin, Paris, Geneva and Frankfurt, and direct long-haul services to the USA, Canada and the Middle East.
The journey from the airport to the city centre is only 8 miles (12 km) with regular connecting services by Airlink bus, tram or taxi and a journey time of approx. 30 minutes.
Taxis from the airport can be found at a rank in the arrivals forecourt to the front of the multi-story car park. Fares vary according to time of day, traffic, etc., but a typical fare from the airport is GBP 25.
You can get a black cab or call 0131 777 77 77 for a private hire booked taxi (which will save you 20% off your final fare).
The Airlink bus (service 100) runs every 10 minutes (almost 24 hours a day) between Edinburgh Airport and terminating at Edinburgh Waverley Train Station. Tickets are GBP 4.50 for a single journey or GBP 7.00 for an open return. The bus stop is outside the terminal building near the tram line. You can pay on the bus for your ticket. The journey time to the city centre is around 35 minutes. – The University of Edinburgh Business School is around a 15-minutes walk from there.

Edinburgh has two main railway stations:
Waverley Station, which is 1 mile from University of Edinburgh Business School, is the city’s main railway station and has direct routes to many cities across the country including over 25 daily departures from London.
Haymarket Station is 2.1 miles from University of Edinburgh Business School, and is a stop for many commuters and some national train routes. Please ensure you check with your rail network provider to find out if your train will stop at Haymarket or Waverley.
