Paper Submission: Important Information

  • The "Call for Short Papers" for the 35th EGOS Colloquium 2019 in Edinburgh is available on the EGOS website; please click here.

  • The deadline for submission of short papers for this Colloquium is Monday, January 14, 2019, 23:59 CET.

  • If you intend to submit a short paper, please take note of the “Guidelines and criteria for the submission of short papers at EGOS Colloquia”.

  • The convenors of the sub-theme to which you have submitted your short paper will let you know by mid/end of February 2019 whether your short paper is accepted or rejected.

  • If the convenors of “your” sub-theme have decided to send your short paper to the so-called “Re-Routing Pool” – because they think that your paper would fit better in another sub-theme –, it may happen that you will only be notified by end of February, at the very latest by mid of March 2019.

  • If your short paper is accepted, you are expected to submit [via the EGOS website] a full paper version (approx. 20–25 pages) by June 15, 2019 at the latest – which you [and/or your co-author/s] will then personally present in your sub-theme at the 35th EGOS Colloquium 2019 in Edinburgh.

 Furthermore, please note:

  • You can only submit ONE short paper to ONE sub-theme with your EGOS number.
  • You may only appear as co-author in a maximum of TWO further papers.
  • You are expected to attend all 7 sessions (= Sessions I to VII) of the sub-theme to which you have submitted your (main) accepted short/full paper.
  • This means: you can attend only ONE sub-theme throughout the entire Colloquium, even if you are a co-author of a paper submitted to another sub-theme.
    → In a nutshell: no sub-theme hopping!
